Swiss watch brand HYSEK

Acclaimed Swiss watch brand HYSEK continues to assert an avant-garde vision which dares to be different and distinguished in every way. It was founded in 1999 by Jorg Hysek, considered to be one of the world’s most acclaimed designers, who believes that “a designer is only satisfied if he is ahead of his time.” Described as a perfect fusion of design trends and cutting-edge electronic technology, HYSEK watches stand out for their singular beauty combined with their exclusive movements. The last three years has seen the HYSEK brand upgraded in a very significant way, making it one of the greatest designer watch brands in the high-end luxury field.

A firm celebrity favourite, HYSEK watch collections have enriched the traditional sector of the Swiss watch industry. The brand’s philosophy is to imagine and create objects with strong personalities and a refined high tech style for customers seeking the exceptional and exciting. We fathom the magic

HYSEK’s concept is characterized by dynamic and distinctive cases in which details confer a unique and recognizable harmony to the product. In fact a defined artistry rules a HYSEK watch, making it a riveting attraction on one’s wrist. Proper elements to the HYSEK identity are the dial displaying the numbers 1-5-7-11, but also the fold-over buckle, an exclusive design of the brand, in perfect continuity of the case.

The brand conducted a product oriented strategy with technically enhanced movements and finally confirmed its legitimacy as a key player in the field of Haute Horlogerie thanks to the creation of its own Manufacture in 2007, located in Lussy-sur-Morges in Switzerland. The manufacture team is composed of qualified clockmakers with a confirmed know-how in the realization of movements.

A Majestic line-up
Today, the brand offers 7 watch lines reflecting the HYSEK spirit. It focusses its main collection on complication timepieces thanks to enriched and sophisticated mechanical execution such as SYMPHONY (Minute Repeater Westminster Tourbillon). Its other notable collections include Abyss, IO, Kilada, Rebel and V-King.

Some of HYSEK’s outstanding collections launched at Baselworld 2011 and available exclusively at IBG-Group’s Majestic boutiques, located at prestigious shopping venues in the UAE, include HYSEK’s Furtif Skeleton Tourbillon and the IO Jumping Hour.

HYSEK unveils time in transparency with its superb new Furtif Skeleton Tourbillon watch. It is HYSEK’s very first skeleton tourbillon and is powered by the Calibre HW10 movement, manufactured entirely in the brand’s workshops with manual winding that beats at a rhythm timed by a flying tourbillion. It has a power reserve indicator on the back equipped with “avant-gardist” balance in titanium. This horological masterpiece can be admired from any side, and has been entirely reworked by hand to create a visually aesthetic, lace-like metalwork design composed of 260 individual parts. It operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and has a 70-hour power reserve.

It comes in two versions; full rose gold, and in a bicolor version of titanium and rose gold and has a rectangular case crafted from 18k rose gold and titanium equipped with a screwed crown and a sapphire glass with anti-glare treatment. Furtif in French means stealth, and this model certainly steals your attention with its compelling presence. Available in a limited series of just 30 pieces, its bicolor skeleton dial features Arabic numerals and rose gold hands. With a water-resistance of 30 meters it is mounted on a hand-sewn alligator leather strap with an 18K rose gold double secured fold-over buckle, exclusive to HYSEK.

HYSEK’s much-awaited dynamic new IO Jumping Hour watch has a powerful 14mm thick and 47mm wide steel case with gently curved sides on the lugs, a double polished bezel, water resistance of 50 meters and a sapphire center with an AM/PM indicator. Eye-catching too is its magnificent open work dial with a snail-like spiral pattern composed of several assembled levels giving it a three dimensional look. It houses the Swiss automatic movement exclusive to HYSEK, the Hysek HW 55 module which offers jumping hours, and slowly moving minutes on a disc that moves across a tapering window. It vibrates at a frequency of 28,800 VpH and has a power reserve of 38 hours 0/-3. The case also has a screwed crown, anti-reflective sapphire case water resistant to 50 meters and is matched perfectly by a smart black leather strap.
